The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi has announced a change in the outsourced service provider handling Indian passport, visa and consular services across the United Arab Emirates. According to an official statement, the current service providers, BLS International Services Limited and SGIVS Global, will continue to accept and process applications until June 30, 2026. Following the completion of a tendering and selection process, Al Hind Tours and Travels LLC has been appointed as the new outsourced service provider for Indian passport, visa and consular services in the UAE. The transition will take effect from July 1, 2026. From that date, all applications for Indian passport, visa and consular services will be accepted through designated centres operated by Al Hind Tours and Travels.

A memorial meeting honoring the life and contributions of M.P.M. Mubashir, Executive Director of Alhind Group, was held today at Alhind Calicut Tower, organized by the Alhind Group. The event saw prominent citizens and leaders of Kozhikode gathering to express their profound grief and condolences on the passing of Mubashir, who was a significant figure in Malabar's travel, tourism, and social sectors for nearly four decades. The memorial meeting was inaugurated by the Mayor of Kozhikode, Dr. Beena Philip, who fondly remembered Mubashir as an exemplary professional whose dedicated service significantly contributed to the urban development and tourism landscape of the city. A message from the Kerala Tourism Minister, Shri. P.A. Muhammed Riyas, highlighting Mubashir's unparalleled contributions to the travel and tourism sectors, was read out to the assembly by Alhind Regional Director, Yaser Mundodan. The event, presided over by Alhind Travels Corporate Director, Noorudheen Ahmed, featured a series of heartfelt tributes from various dignitaries and representatives. Alhind Tours and Travels UAE, a subsidiary of Alhind Group India, has signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GreenNetZero LTD, supported by Al Sahara Group, to launch electric bus operations across GCC countries. The agreement was formalized by Alhind Group Chairman Mohammed Haris T. and GreenNetZero Chairman Ms. Noura Khalifa Al Mazrouei at a ceremony held at Alhind Tower, Sharjah, in the presence of dignitaries including H.E. Khalifa Matar Al Mazrouei, Alhind Managing Director P.V. Valsaraj, and GreenNetZero Investment Chairman Justin Joel. This strategic partnership aims to promote sustainable mobility by deploying electric bus fleets, developing EV infrastructure, and supporting the green energy goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 initiatives.
